I created this card today using the scraps from the Tower Mini and the Calendar. I am so in love with this Pion Designs paper. For the card, I used some silk ribbon to anchor the layered scraps from the collection. I cut the Hearts from the scraps as well. The baby photo is a tag in their paper collection. It was longer than the card, so I foldeded it and tucked the bottom edge into a glassine bag. I think this gives the layout a nice "vintage" feel.
I love cards that can be used for multiple purposes, and I think this one would make a perfect "new baby" card or "thinking of you".
I have had a great time playing with the Pion Design's Paper. I hope you visit their store and blog for additional ideas and to purchase.
Eiffel Tower Mini with Pion Designs Paper & My Teddy Boo's Chipboard designs
WOW - I had a lot of fun working on this project. Amy, My Teddyboo.com, sent me this Eiffel tower mini kit which included the tower pages, a large tower cut, a large Fleur de lis, and a small tower and Fleur de lis. The Pion Studio of Memories paper was absolutely perfect for this album. It was like the two were made for each other. Below I have a complete walk through of the project. Vintage Library Periodic Card Download
I was playing around in Photoshop today, and I created this Library Periodic Card. These are perfect for Journal cards. You could easily use a typewriter font to add your journaling to make this look super vintage.
This download will be free for a limited time. Download here.

Pion Designs - Studio of Memories and
My Teddyboo - Hot Air Balloon kit
When I got my hands on this paper collection, I knew I wanted to make something that would be cherished for a long time. I love Amy's Hot Air Ballon, and I decided to combine the two designs and make a desktop calendar that could be used through out the year. When the year is over you could simply replace the calendars with a photograph or business cards to enjoy for many more years to come.
Here is a step by step walk through of this project:
As a special thank you to my followers, I wanted to give you the calendar as a free download. I would love to see what you create with these calendars, please forward your projects to me as a private message on Youtube, or by email.
Some serious Holiday crafting has been going on in my room the last few weeks. Between Tim's 12 tags of Christmas, Cards, and some last minute gifts, I have had scraps up to my elbows. I wanted to share with you guys today a tip for turning those scraps into a work of Art.
Today I want to share with you a different take on a mini ablum design. Amy, My Teddyboo, gave me the storefront mini album kit to design for my next project. But instead of a traditional mini album - I decided to turn mine into a christmas Decorative piece. There are lots of details on each panel. I have broken out tutorials on how to make some of the elements. Please visit my YouTube channel for more details on this..
Last time I shared with you that I made the Design Team for MyTeddyboo.com. I have really enjoyed working with Amy's albums. There is so much room for embellishments and still have space for large photos. From day one I knew I would use the Steampunk Debutant Line from Graphic 45 on this mini. I wanted it to be tiered so that behind every dressform there was a hot air balloon. I also wanted the pages to be vibrant, elegant, but most of all interactive!
This is a sample of the storefront that Amy designed and decorated. Her vision is inspiring!
I'm super excited to announce that I have been asked to design for MyTeddyBoo.com, an online store that sales unique chipboard die cuts. Amy is a super talented artist who designs the BEST dies. Her products include Mini Albums that are 6inches high x 8-9 inches wide. They easily accommodate a 4x6 photo and still leave room for embellishments. Her kits also include the chipboard pieces for embellishing. She has lots of designs like hot air balloons, teapots with tea set, dress forms, A Boudoir with vanity, hats, shoes, and a stool (oh my), A birdcage that includes a mini dress form, and a Storefront. AWESOME! She is also about to release some new cuts that will knock your socks off (but I have to keep those under wraps for now). The best part is that you can mix and match many of the sets to make unique albums.
I know you guys are gonna love them. Make sure you visit her site for samples of the available designs and full details on the kits.
Here is a photo of a few of the mini pieces that she sent to me. I can't wait to play with them.
